Prosilica’s integration into the Allied Vision Technologies group was completed 1 February, 2010 .

Prior to Allied Vision Technology's acquisition of Prosilica Inc in July, 2008, the Canadian manufacturer had successfully established itself in the market by being one of the pioneers of digital cameras with Gigabit Ethernet interface (GigE Vision). Now, Prosilica's distinguished range of GigE Vision digital cameras are fully-integrated into Allied Vision's product lineup.

About the Prosilica suite of cameras
The Prosilica family of cameras are high-performance digital cameras for machine vision and industrial applications.

Prosilica's GigE cameras are used in a wide variety of applications including industrial inspection, machine vision, semiconductor imaging, food processing, traffic and security, as well as a wide range of test and measurement applications.
