Smaller and lighter than its predecessor and including
on-camera and connectivity controls in response to customer requests,
the Phantom v211 is housed in a white body keeping it cooler when shooting
in direct sunlight.
The advantage of wide screen technology
The screen that is 25% wider than most competitive models, allows the
user to keep moving targets in the frame longer and also to see more of
the events being recorded. Enabling true 1280 x 720 HD images, the v211
delivers a maximum speed of 2190 frames-per-second at full resolution
while at reduced resolutions, the camera can deliver up to 300 000 frames-per-second.
The camera comes with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB internal high-speed
memory which can be segmented allowing the operator to divide this into
a possible 63 partitions so that multiple shots can be taken back-to-back
without the need to download data from the camera.
The v211 also includes the Extreme Dynamic Range feature, giving the ability
to obtain two different exposures within a single frame so areas that
would otherwise be over-exposed, contain image detail. Additionally, Auto
Exposure enables the camera to adjust automatically to changing lighting
conditions.
The Phantom v211 is available in monochrome and colour and with optional Phantom CineMag: a non-volatile hot-swappable memory magazine
