The cost effectiveness of Teledyne’s cameras is achieved by their in-house design and manufacture of their own sensors. The Teledyne Vision foundry accounts for all sensors in the Tetra series which are designed and built with a long history and expertise of a company regarded as a leader in the industry.
The Tetra line scanner series are designed with a 2.5 GigE Vision interface, which provides 2.5x the bandwidth of standard GigE. It provides reliable, high-speed data transmission over long cable lengths up to 100 metres while keeping power consumption low at under 6 watts.
The Tetra line scanner is available in 2k, 4k, and 8k resolutions with a line rate of up to 150 kHz, the camera comes in both monochrome and colour versions with digital I/O and encoder inputs.
