iDS XS compact, small and light

One of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial cameras, iDS have introduced the uEye XS UI-1007XS-C Rev 1.1. This high-resolution camera can visualise fine details even under low-light conditions making it proficient in kiosk systems, embedded systems and applications in the medical technology sector. This camera is designed with OmniVision’s 5.04 MPix CMOS sensor with a pixel size of 1.40 µm.

At 26.4 x 23 x 21.7 mm, the uEye XS weighs just 12 grams but its not to be underestimated. Whether in a hand-held scanner, on a robot arm or in a passport photo machine, the tiny uEye XS camera ensures that the object captured is always perfectly focused. The uEye XS provides triggered autofocus and many other auto functions allowing for easy capture of sharp images and videos in real time. Autofocus features aid when a target object is constantly moving. Autofocus features make the camera easier to use for beginners as the need for manual focusing is removed. The uEye XS is ready for immediate use and very-much a practical starter option.

The uEye XS offers an integrated power supply with USB 2.0 standard and Mini B USB 2.0 connectors. It is compact, lightweight and brings fantastic image quality with high accuracy in colour reproduction in light ambient conditions. This camera captures and outputs .jpg images at maximum 15-frames-per-second and is supported by the iDS Software Suite.
