The pylon 6 Camera Software Suite (Version 6.1.2)
for macOS is comprised of an easy to use Software Development Kit
(SDK) as well as tools and drivers that allow you to operate any
Basler camera through the use of a macOS PC. It allows end users
to be empowered with access to the latest camera models along with
all of its features. Basler pylon for macOS supports both the GigE
Vision and the USB3 Vision standard.
An easy to use interface provided by pylon is independent
from the camera interface being used, meaning that an application
created with pylon can simply be ported to another camera interface
technology. Basler pylon 6 supports the macOS versions High Sierra
(10.13), Mojave (10.14) and Catalina (10.15). Because pylon supports
not just macOS but also Linux and Windows, applications developed
under macOS using pylon can also be ported easily into other operating
systems and architectures (such as embedded systems).
