Teledyne DALSA's Genie TS series Genie TS is a next-generation camera monochrome and colour platform engineered to meet the critical performance and environmental requirements of challenging applications. Powered by the latest image sensors including Teledyne DALSA's own advanced CMOS devices, the Genie TS family offers extremely high quality images with resolutions from 2 to 12 megapixels and frame rates as high as 300 fps, all with true global shutter functionality for crisp, smear-free images of high-speed action. Genie TS also provides remarkable dynamic range to ensure optimized
image capture from sun-to-shade. |

HDR Imaging If you need to capture details in both bright and dark settings, the Genie TS can take different exposures in successive frames allowing you to combine them in HDR detail. This feature allows greater detail capture in both, simplifies lighting and reduces cost. (See fig. 1 below). |

Auto brightness If you need your system to adapt to changing light conditions, the Genie TS automatically adjusts exposure time or gain OR BOTH. |

Burst mode If you need to go faster than GigE for short periods, Genie T captures and buffers faster than GigE output giving burst capture as fast as CameraLink but with the convenience and cost-effectiveness of GigE. |

Multiple ROI Selecting regions-of-interest in an image reduces the transferred and processed data and stores only the part of the image that is required. (See Fig. 2 below) |

JPG compression If further data compression is required, the Genie TS compresses 10:1 in real-time with no negative impact on inspection applications. |
