The 32 and 64-bit versions of Sherlock 7.2.1.2
are now available from Adept
Teledyne DALSA has released an update of Sherlock 7 software with the
following improvements:

1 |
“Search
– Edge” now has a “Sort Matches by Score”
checkbox. When checked, the match results are sorted from highest
to lowest match score. The default is unchecked (no sorting by score)
as this is slightly faster. If your Investigation depends
on match results being sorted, the box should be ticked |

Added install options for “current
user” and “all users”. The “User
Data Path” and Environment Variables change depending
on this selection. Environment variables are now removed
and Start menu shortcuts are deleted when you uninstall.
Location of data directory is now driven by ENV var SP7DATA |

Added 64bit version of PCIDIO
driver (8255 compatible IO boards) |

Added two new FTP logging instructions
to check status and reset log. Also images are not removed from
the queue until they are successfully transferred (not when attempting
