The need for speed
The ability to show the detail of motion at very high frame rates (several hundred fps or more) is a valuable asset to live sports broadcasters wanting to add higher production values to their coverage. Additionally, ultra-slow-motion capture is potentially invaluable to sports adjudicators, who can use instantly-available playback to provide assistance to referees and umpires in difficult decisions that affect sporting action.

The i-Movix X10+ continuous-record system
Described as "smashing the performance ceiling" of existing super-slow motion systems the X10+ has the unique capability of delivering 10x normal speed capture in full HD resolution while being used like any standard broadcast camera since it records continuously. All other camera systems with comparable speed require an internal memory management process and so will record for only a short time, before internal memory is full and requires a lengthy off-load process. It is the first "always-on" live ultra motion solution that delivers groundbreaking 300 fps real-time non-stop ultra slow motion in full HD.

Developed in partnership with EVS, the X10+ system, combined with the EVS XT3 production server under LSM control, smashes the performance ceiling of existing super slow motion systems, which are restricted to three times slower than real time or 75 fps.

X10+ is also a two-in-one ultra motion system optimized not only for continuous recording but also with the capapbiity to operate in an extreme-slow motion mode at frame rates up to 2,600 fps in 1080i or up to 5,600 fps in 720p (100 times slower than live action) with instant replay.
