Advanced
features are standard
Boasting a wide screen 1280 x 800 CMOS sensor, (25% wider
than most competitive models), this feature allows
moving targets to remain in-frame longer and to
see more of the event being recording. The wide sensor
also allows a true 1280 x 720 HD image from this 1Mpx camera.
High sensitivity
Capturing in challenging lighting conditions is not an
issue with the Phantom v411 due to the sensitivity provided by its
20-micron pixel size and improved quantum efficiency. Even the smallest
of details can be seen using the camera's minimum exposure
time of 1 microsecond. where blur is eliminated and so providing
a crisp, clear image. |
High-speed capture
While the Phantom captures at just more than 4 000 frames-per-second at
full resolution, its top speed, at reduced resolution is a remarkable
600 000 frames-per-second.
Selectable bit-depth
The Phantom v411 supports both 8- and 12-bit pixel depth. Smaller bit-depth
allows more recording time and smaller files. Greater bit-depth provides
more gray levels and finer detail. Using the 12-bit option provides more
detail in the image, a necessity for most motion-analysis applications.
Eliminating over-exposure
As with other camera models in the v series, the v411 offers the proprietary
Extreme Dynamic Range feature which provides two different exposures within
a single frame that allows areas that would otherwise be overexposed to
contain image details. Additionally. using Auto Exposure, the camera adjusts
itself to changing lighting conditions automatically
Multiple
capture-and-store options
As with other Phantom models, storage options are many and
the v411 comes with 8GB, 16GB or 32GB internal high-speed memory which
can be segmented up to 63 times allowing multiple shots to be captured
back-to-back without needing to download data from the camera.
Additionally, shots can be saved directly to the Phantom
CineMag's non-volatile, hot-swappable memory magazines which allows
continuous recording in full resolution at up to 780 fps. This represents
capturing just over 2 minutes into the |

. Even higher speeds can be recorded into camera RAM, then manually
or automatically moved to recording to the CineMag providing maximum
data protection and an ideal storage medium for secure environments.
The Phantom v411 is available with or without CineMag compatibility.
