An attractive compact, one-cable solution especially suited for limited-space applications

Compact, extremely robust and lightweight
Particularly suited for limited-space applications, the UI-1240ML has a lockable USB 2.0 connector and metal casing which ensure reliability even in extreme industrial environments.

Offering plug-and-play convenience, an added advantage is the camera's one-cable operation supplying both power and data transfer.

About the sensor
Fitted with a advanced 1.3 megapixel, cost-effective CMOS sensor, the camera offers outstanding sensitivity, is available in colour, mono and NIR versions and is particularly suited for applications in Intelligent Traffic Systems, quality control, microscopy, medical engineering and machine vision.

Delivering 25 fps at full resolution , additional features include Log-mode, Linescan-mode, multiple AOI, sequence AOI and four shutter-modes.
The sensor used in the UI-1240ML offers four shutter modes and can switch between individual modes while the camera is in operation. providing great flexibility if requirements change. The efficient shutter modes guarantee ideal quantum efficiency and hence excellent image quality. With four shutter modes from which to choose, adjusting the shutter mode according to the signal-to-noise ratio for distortion-free images or in critical lighting situations is an easy operation.

Critical light situations
The sensor allows capturing highly dynamic scenes at best image quality even in difficult light conditions and with global shutter mode due to the Log-mode feature, accurate capture can be maximised. The bundled uEye Cockpit software can be used to adjust the appropriate parameters with ease.

Being able to obtain the best setting according to the requirements of various situations makes this sensor the perfect replacement for costly HDR sensor solutions.
