Easy installation and configuration with uEye Cockpit

The uEye Cockpit was originally designed as a programming example demonstrating an option for integrating cameras. The example was gradually expanded into a powerful tool to make the installation of uEye cameras even easier and faster. Features Making installation and configuration easier, the Cockpit tool allows effortless camera connections and will also configure the ideal parameters for the best image without any programming needing to be done by the user. Ideal settings for the best image are determined automatically. Bandwidth management can also be configured easily as well as determining the perfect exposure time, the frame rate or the trigger and flash handling, the values for which are stored in an INF file, making importing them into applications an easy task. If the ambient conditions change, the Cockpit tool allows for easy re-adjustment of the camera settings and re-entering into the application. Saving image sequences in an AVI video container is also included in the functional scope. The tool is integrated in the latest driver version 3.81 and included in the scope-of-delivery of all iDS uEye cameras. Please contact Adept if you require a free-of-charge download.
