Based on the highly flexible and award-winning original
BOA camera, Teledyne DALSA, leaders in the machine vision field, have
released the the BOA IDR: a complete vision system in a tiny smart camera
package.
What does the BOA IDR do?
BOA IDR is an image-based identification and verification camera that
allows manufacturers to automatically identify parts for traceability
and error proofing. BOA IDR combines 1D and 2D
reader tools with character (OCR) and pattern recognition capabilities
and comes complete with embedded software and processing to identify or
verify all required product markings are correct when they leave the factory

User-friendly operation
The IDR software is embedded within the device and is set up through a
web browser interface. The controls are easy to navigate and accommodate
users of all experience levels. Advanced features, such as custom scripting,
are provided for more complex applications. User administration controls
and logging features are also included to help customers achieve system
validation when required.
BOA IDR supports standard communication protocols, such as Modbus and
Ethernet/IP, for seamless connection to complementary control devices.
