Innovations
E-Series pan/tilt units feature programmable ranges of motion with real-time enhanced control of position, velocity, and acceleration along with integrated Ethernet and an IP command interface.

The new E-Series 32-bit microcontroller enables higher command rates, improved acceleration, and lower latency and jitter than previous models and is available for PTU-D48, PTU-D100, PTU-D300 models.

Key attributes
The E-Series models build on FLIR Motion Control Systems' proven and powerful pan-tilt families to deliver improved performance and increased flexibility. The E-Series architecture includes:
• Reduced calibration movement • Power protection circuitry meets MIL-STD-1275 standard
• Advanced microstop control (up to 1/8th) • Digital encovers for closed-loop control
• User-programmable ranges of motion • Integrated Ethernet and Web interfaces
• Expanded I/O for payload control • Increased command rate and reduced jitter
• On-board STABILISATION with ISM option - no external wiring • On-board GEO-POINTING with ISM option - no external wiring
• Increased torque, speed and acceleration (depending on model/configuration)
