New, simple and easy-to-use and still with the advantage of
GigE technology

In line with Dalsa's commitment to providing user-friendly technologies, their two new additions, the Genie M1280 and C1280 GigE cameras, continue with the company's tradition of being extremely easy to use, affordable and quick to deploy, and stand to become the "camera of choice" in industrial imaging applications.

About Genie and GigE
DALSA continues to lead the deployment of the GigE Vision standard in terms of adopting the technology into their product development efforts and, like all Genie cameras, the C1280 and M1280 are certified GigE Vision, complying with the AIA (Automated Imaging Association) GigE Vision Standard.

Why is GigE important and useful?
Dalsa logoThe new Genie cameras take full advantage of Gigabit Ethernet technology by being able to transmit data over standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables to distances of up to 100m. This allows for a greater distance between the camera and inspection system.
