Genie M1400

DALSA’s Genie cameras combine state of the art GigE Vision technology with DALSA’s Trigger to Image Reliability framework. The series uses high quality, high sensitivity CCD and CMOS sensors in resolutions ranging from 640 x 480 to 1600 x 1200 pixels in both color and monochrome. DALSA Coreco's Genie Gigabit Ethernet cameras are affordable, easy to use digital cameras specifically engineered for industrial imaging applications. The Genie 1400 is an SXGA CCD camera available in both monochrome (M1400) and colour (C1400) suited for demanding industrial applications. It features a Sony CCD sensor with a maximum resolution of 1360 x 1024 pixels running at 15 frames per second full resolution. With partial scan it is capable of up to 81 fps.

The Genie M1400 / C1400 takes advantage of GigE Vision technology, transmitting data over standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables for distances of up to 100m. All Genie cameras are based on AIA (Automated Imaging Association) GigE Vision Standard to directly link the camera to a PC.

All Genie cameras are supported by DALSA’s Sapera™ LT software libraries which are also available through Adept Electronic Solutions. Sapera features CamExpert for simplified camera set-up and configuration. As it is hardware independent, Sapera LT delivers the same reliable performance regardless of the Dalsa image acquisition device being used. This unique feature allows OEM’s to start using the Genie without re-writing the application. In addition, Sapera LT includes powerful diagnostics and setup utilities for application development, custom camera configurations and system deployment.
