Xcelera-CL+ PX8 Full
Back to Dalsa Frame Grabbers
Teledyne Dalsa delivers the industry's
most reliable and versatile family of frame grabbers combining industry
leading performance with industry leading feature sets, great value
and extensive camera support. Board-level innovations deliver Trigger-to-Image
Reliability significantly increasing system performance and
ultimately helping to increase yield.
Designed with the requirements of the machine vision OEMs in mind,
the Xcelera Series ranges from entry level frame grabbers, to high-performance
image acquisition boards,
to embedded vision processors.
Addressing the emerging needs of bandwidth-hungry machine vision
applications, the Xcelera Series is defining next-generation frame
grabber capabilities with the ability to deliver
bandwidth beyond 1GByte/s over multiple-lane PCI Express
(PCIe) implementations with room to grow.
Teledyne Dalsa image acquisition boards have been field tested and
approved for use with more than 200 cameras covering a wide range
of characteristics, requirements and specifications.
The Xcelera-CL+ PX8 Full is
a Camera Link frame grabber that is based on the PCI Express interface
to bring traditional image acquisition and processing technology
to new levels of performance and flexibility.
Compatible with a Base, Medium or Full Camera Link® camera,
the Xcelera-CL+ PX8 Full supports a wide variety of multi-tap area
and line scan colour and monochrome cameras and for greater versatility,
the Xcelera-CL+ PX8 Full board can interface with advanced Camera
Link camera output formats including 10-taps of 8-bit/pixel or 8-taps
of 10-bit/pixel at 85MHz pixel clock rates.
The Xcelera-CL+ PX8 Full has been built within Teledyne DALSA’s
Trigger-to-Image Reliability technology framework which leverages
their hardware and software innovations to control, monitor and
correct the image acquisition process from the time that an external
trigger event occurs to the moment the data is sent to the host.
This means that there is provision for traceability when errors
do occur and permitting recovery from those errors.

What is PCIe host interface?
PCIe host interface is a point-to-point host interface and allows
simultaneous image acquisition and transfer involving little intervention
from the host CPU
What is Trigger-to-Image
Reliability
Trigger-to-Image Reliability technology framework leverages
DALSA’s hardware and software innovations to control, monitor and
correct the image acquisition process from the time that an external trigger
event occurs to the moment the data is sent to the host providing traceability
when errors do occur and permitting recovery from those errors. |
