Phantom v2640

The Phantom v2640 is an ultrahigh-speed monochrome camera featuring a proprietary 4 megapixel CMOS image sensor with 2048 x 1952 resolution and 26 Gpx/sec throughput. This camera delivers high-speed performance with high-resolution imaging, 144 GB of memory and compatibility with Phantom CineMag IV and V media storage systems.

These models leverage Correlated Double Sampling for low noise and high dynamic range operation, which can be switched off for higher throughput. Bright Field Mode increases the full well capacity, helping create cleaner images in bright conditions.

Phantom v2640 overview

4 megapixel high-speed imaging

Featuring a proprietary 4 megapixel CMOS image sensor, the Phantom v2640 combines high speeds with high-resolution imaging for demanding scientific, engineering and industrial applications.

High dynamic range

The v2640 has a low noise rating and high dynamic range of 64 dB. Correlated Double Sampling helps create clean images in dark regions, while Bright Field Mode improves performance in bright conditions.

Fast full-resolution capture

At full 2048 x 1952 resolution, the v2640 reaches 4,855 fps. At reduced resolutions it can reach up to 144,970 fps, and even higher when binned.

Workflow and storage

The v2640 is compatible with Phantom CineMag IV and V media storage systems and includes 10 Gb Ethernet for fast data transfer and efficient workflow.
