The Specim GX17 from Specim is designed for low cost, industrial hyperspectral imaging. Building on Specim's famous FX industrial series, the GX17 is aimed at providing a low cost near-infrared hyperspectral camera for high volume industrial applications.

The GX17 is sensitive from 950 - 1700nm and delivers an industry-high maximum frame rate of 800 Hz with 480 spatial pixels. The cost-performance ratio of the GX17 sets a new standard for high-volume industrial hyperspectral applications.

The Specim GX17 is aimed at a wide range of sorting and recycling applications including food sorting, waste sorting, recycling and others like precision agriculture, grain phenotyping, soil nutrients, crop health, crop diseases and many more.

For shorter time-to-market system-designers can use the GX17 as part of the SpecimONE solution which is made up of Specim's INSIGHT material classification and sorting software which can run real-time on the SpecimCUBE hyperspectral accelerator DPU. SpecimONE allows users to develop new industrial sorting and inspection applications without comprehensive knowledge of spectral imaging.
