The JAI Wave Series includes high-performance area scan and line scan cameras equipped with Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) sensors capable of detecting Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) light.

Wave Series cameras reveal details that are invisible to standard visible light imaging systems. High-Sensitivity Imaging

Line scan models feature large 12.5 µm square pixels to ensure superior light sensitivity in low-light conditions and improved signal-to-noise performance. A flexible 14-bit video output delivers 16,384 grayscale levels for precise detection of subtle material differences.

Visible and SWIR Spectrum Integration

The area scan model features an advanced sensor design with a wide spectral response ranging from 400 nm to approximately 1700 nm. This capability enables the simultaneous capture of both visible and short-wave infrared image data.
