lights and software all being factory-configured with no additional
software to install.
Compact and easy-to-integrate mechanically, and irrespective of the type
of product on the assembly line, BOA Spot can help improve quality,
reduce waste and increase throughput and for less cost than anticipated.
BOA Shot's lower-cost-of-ownership allows more
points-of-inspection along production lines which, in turn, means
better failure analysis and faster/easier corrective actions.
The camera's ruggedness is sufficiently robust for factory-floor
deployment where flexible mounting options are required
and space is tight.
Inspections can be triggered by parts in motion or from a Programmable
Logic Controller after being moved into position. Standard factory protocols,
such as Ethernet/IP and PROFINET, are directly supported for communicating
with 3rd party equipment or the factory enterprise and inspected images
can be transferred to a networked drive using the FTP protocol.
Included is set of comprehensive vision tools for part-locating, counting
and measuring a feature or for defect-detecting applications. These tools
can be combined and used multiple times to solve simple or complex inspection
tasks that are beyond the capabilities of traditional sensors.
The software user-interface is easy for a novice to learn and the GUI
is fully-featured for both setup and runtime operation.
