IO Industries Video Savant is the best solution for acquiring, viewing and processing real-time frame sequences from all types of video cameras. Every layer of this second generation software has been designed to deliver the best possible performance with today's high-performance PCs and frame grabbers.

Real-time standard or non-standard video is channeled from the frame grabber directly to system memory or to a hard disk sub-system. Once the imagery is captured, every frame is on-line for processing by the image processing engine. The engine has an extensive set of functions which can process individual images or sequences of images in a single operation.

An innovative user interface harnesses the full power of the image processing engine to provide an ease of use that will maximize your productivity. A comprehensive set of frame grabber drivers is included to capture video from many of today's digital and analog cameras.

Video Savant Standard Edition, SDK Edition and Runtime License require a PC workstation running Windows NT 4.0/2000 with Service Pack 4 or higher . The PC workstation is required to have a minimum of 32MB of memory. An Intel Pentium 166 processor (or better) is required. An Intel Pentium II or Pentium III is recommended. For systems that require disk recording, it is recommended that SCSI disk drives are used for storage of the video and that a separate IDE disk drive be used for the operating system, Video Savant and other application software.
