The PC-EX1 provides full PC functionality in hazardous areas. It comprises an explosion proof (Ex d) CPU and display connected to an intrinsically safe (Ex I) QWERTY keyboard. The PC-EX1 provides up to 3 half length slots in a passive backplane. The system provides an affordable compact PC for hazardous areas. It is less expensive than purged systems and does not require the high level of maintenance associated with them. The PC-EX1 is well suited for the oil and gas industry, petrochemical, paintlines etc. |
