INTRINSICALLY SAFE KEYBOARD WITH INTEGRAL MOUSE The KBIM2-IS is a full QWERTY PC keyboard with integral mouse for use in hazardous environments. The unit is intrinsically safe, protected via safety barriers, and is suitable for use in Class 1 Zone 0 hazardous areas. The KBIM2-IS is fully welded from stainless steel. The membrane is covered with a conductive stainless steel shim to prevent static build up. The unit only requires a single dual channel barrier. Ideally suited to operator interface requirements in petrochemical and other industries with potentially explosive atmospheres. |
