Midopt's Acrylic Longpass Filters

Acrylic Longpass Filters are a durable, lightweight and economical solution for inspection windows and used to protect a lens in environments where broken glass might be a problem.

Using optical-grade, impact-resistant acrylic, these filters are half the weight of the glass equivalent and are available with an anti-reflection coating for maximum transmission. Custom-cut to match equipment requirements, acrylic filters are available in threaded mounts, M13.25 to M105 and in slip mounts.

Applications
Acrylic Longpass Filters are frequently used as enclosure windows for outdoor applications, as well as over light sources to control the wavelength emission of broad-spectrum light sources.

Because of their durability, acrylic filters are commonly used in Food & Drug regulated applications where glass over the inspection area may not permitted. In addition, the AC380 offers an anti-abrasion, anti-reflection coating which can withstand harsh solvents, such as alcohol, acetone or MEK. (see video on left)

Acrylic NIR Longpass Filter. AC685 IR Pass/Visible Block filter material is 2mm thick acrylic sheet with carefully controlled near-IR spectral properties. Useful range 710 - 1100nm

AC760

Acrylic NIR Longpass Filter. Blocks a portion of the very near IR and suited for use with 785nm, 810nm, 830nm or 850nm laser diode or LED illumination, or where visible light emitted by arc/flash lamps needs to be blocked while near-IR illumination is passed. Useful range 780- 1100nm
