Machine Vision Technology News
Hello [firstname, fallback=customer]

Welcome to the May, 2011 edition of Vision Technology News presented by Adept Electronic Solutions Pty Ltd - The Machine Vision and Imaging Specialists.

We come to the end of another financial year and so I would like to thank all of you, our customers and our suppliers for working with us this year. It has been another busy 12 months and any remnants that Aust/NZ felt of the GFC seem to have faded. For those of you that export, it has been a challenging year with the Aud$/NZD$ reaching and remaining at multi-decade highs. Manufacturers have also been challenged by exchange rates and by the continued competiton from neighbouring regions! All-in-all; however, we have seen growth in the market and look forward to having it continue.

Adept has continued to grow organically. This year we welcomed Mattew Ayres to our Melbourne team. We also had our bigggest year since starting 23 years ago which we are proud of and again thankful to you for. Behind the scenes we have been planning and implementing the merger with Total Turnkey Solutions which has been announced to the press in the last 2 weeks. For those of you that don't know TTS, they have been an alternative supplier of machine vision and imaging in Australia for 18 years. They also supply data acquisition and industrial computing products. They are a very competetent and skilled company and I look forward to the complementray skills they bring to Adept. This merger combines the two largest specialist suppliers of industrial machine vision and imaging in Australia. You will see, over the coming 12 months positive changes and improvements to the way we do business. You will benefit from more technical support, more competitive pricing, better and faster service and more knowledge transfer to you in the form of seminars, webinars and technical papers. The new company will be called Adept Turnkey and on behalf of my new partners Mark Goulding and Kevin Dowsey, we look forward to working with you in the coming years.
