Adept Electronic Solutions was represented by Marc Fimeri at the Vision Show in Stuttgart, Nov 2005 in Germany. Vision Stuttgart is the world leading vision event on the Machine Vision calendar. All of the world 's leading vision component manufacturers reveal their new products for the coming year. This year's show unveiled new technologies such as GigE from leading players such as Dalsa Coreco and JAI PULNiX, providing customers with increased flexibility when choosing machine vision components for their applications. Making a first appearance at the show was a new type of product called Vision Appliances, which are complete vision systems designed for ease-of-use and can be operated on the factory floor by production personnel .
How do you know that all those products coming off the production line are within tolerance, completely assembled and ready for shipment? Even if the line is built for remarkable consistency, there still may be a need to compile statistics for trends such as tool wear or how to predict when a machine or tool may be serviced.
