MDSP
Back to Image Processors
Back to Coreco Frame Grabbers
| The MDSP is a TMS320C44 based multi-DSP processing board for the
PCI bus. Available with up to four DSPs, the MDSP can have up to 24
MB of zero wait-state memory. The MDSP features true asynchronous
4-port shared memory of 8 KB used specifically for multiprocessing
environments. A programmable interconnection topology enhances the
performance of the algorithms specific to the customer's applications.
An optional MDSP-I/O module provides an external interface via IP,
TIM-40 and customer specific modules. The MDSP-I/O can have up to
32 MB of additional global memory for storage hungry applications.
Coreco Imaging also provides turnkey systems.
Development Tools
Coreco Imaging's MDSP is supported by a complete set of development
tools for custom DSP code development including: C compilers, Linkers,
Libraries, Debugging Tools and Operating Systems for single and
multiprocessing environments. Comprehensive software tools such
as 3L's Parallel C, Jovian's Pegasus and Spectron's SPOX ensure
quick time-to-market and reduced development costs. Coreco Imaging
also provides drivers for DOS, Windows NT and Windows 3.x.
