MIRO M120: Third generation,
Phantom Miro camera - small, portable, self-contained and rugged
A most accessible high-speed camera ideal for a large variety of applications
that require moderate frame rates at common resolutions
The Phantom Miro M120 is an easy-to-use, attractively priced,
2-megapixel camera with 1.6 Gigapixels/second throughput and with a maximum
resolution of 1920 x 1200, but other common resolutions such as 1152 x
1152 are also available. At 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, the camera provides
up to 800 frames-per-second.
T he Miro M120 is available in both colour and monochrome versions and
with a minimum digital exposure of 1µs. The M120 uses microlenses
on its custom-designed CMOS sensor with 10 µm pixel pitch to achieve
high light sensitivity. With 12-bit pixel depth, the camera also offers
high dynamic range for excellent image quality.
The Miro M120 supports four lens mounts: F-, C-, PL- or EOS. EOS mounts
which allow the use of Canon EF and EF-S automated lenses and the lens,
aperture and focus can all be adjusted remotely using the Remote Control
Unit or Phantom Camera Control software.
Included in the package is a unique 60 GB CineFlash storage facility and
dock. These removable, non-volatile storage devices slide into the camera
body and provide a way to quickly save shots from the camera's memory
without the need for time-consuming and costly downloads. The CineFlash
module can be removed from the camera and inserted it into the docking
station connected to a computer making the cines stored on the CineFlash
immediately available via the computer.
Cines can also be transferred from the camera to the computer and edited
using the Phantom Camera Control software. A 60GB CineFlash and Dock are
included in the package with optional storage capacity of 120 GB or 240
GB.
