Slow-motion Video camera
Phantom Miro cameras come in a variety of models and a
range of performance levels and with three body styles.
The M-Series is targeted at applications where computer control
is preferred – for example, a fixed installation where
high-speed cines are immediately saved to a computer for viewing and analysis.
The LC-Series has an integrated flip-out LCD touch screen for
on-camera control and viewing of recorded cines. It is best employed
in applications where the camera will be used in a variety of applications,
often requiring portability.
The R-Series is targeted at applications where computer control is used,
and is packaged in a robust, shock-tolerant, all-metal body.
Small, lightweight, rugged and packed with advanced features and accessible,
the Miro M / R / LC-Series colour and monochrome cameras are ideal for
a huge variety of applications that require moderate frame rates at common
resolutions. A late addition to this family, the R-Series body style,
adds a rugged, high-g rated camera to the Miro family
that will allow Phantom Miro technology to be used in crash-test- like
environments.
Storage and retrieval
Each Miro310 camera is compatible with CineFlash storage which is a removable,
non-volatile storage device that slides into the camera body and provides
a quick way to save shots from the camera's memory without the
need for time-consuming and costly downloads. Removing the CineFlash from
the camera and inserting it into the docking station connected to a computer
makes the stored cines immediately available on computer. A 120 GB CineFlash
comes as standard with 240 GB as an option.
The cines can also be transferred from the camera to a computer and a
the images edited using the Phantom Camera Control software.
These cameras also have a number of other advanced features including
an internal capping shutter, Image-Based Auto-Trigger, camera synchronization
and immediate playback of recorded cines.
