Miro M110 showing Cine/flash storage system

The Miro cameras in this model group are accessible, small, light-weight, rugged and ideal for a large variety of applications that require moderate frame rates at common resolutions.

Available in three body styles to suit various deployments, the LAB Series suits indoor, laboratory environments when computer control is preferred (where high-speed cines are immediately saved to a computer for viewing and analysis).

The all-metal R-Series is a rugged, shock-tolerant camera designed for harsher environments, or outdoors, where computer control is used. (the Miro 111 model recently being updated with a CineFlash compartment door and standard internal mechanical shutter), while the LC-Series has a flip-out LCD touchscreen interface for camera control and cine playback. This series has an integrated flip-out touchscreen for on-camera control and viewing of recorded cines and best used in a variety of applications especially those that require portability. There are even several common setups pre-installed on the LC-Series which can be selected with a tap on the screen.

Each Miro is compatible with removable, non-volatile CineFlash storage (120GB or 240GB) providing a quick way of saving shots without having to download from the camera to the PC. A 120GB CineFlash and Dock are bundled with the R and LC cameras. CineFlash for LAB series can be purchased as an option.

The R and LC Series come with a battery that can power the camera when AC power is not available or is lost during an experiment.

Each Miro camera supports four lens mounts: Nikon F/G, C, PL or EF (EF mounts allow the use of Canon EF and EF-S automated lenses). Adjust lens aperture and focus remotely using the Remote Control Unit or Phantom Camera Control software

Miro 120/121
The Phantom Miro 120 (121 for the R-series) is a 2 megapixel camera with 1.6 Gigapixels/second throughput providing 730 fps at 1920 x 1200, or over 1,200 fps at 1152 x 1152. The minimum digital exposure is 1µs. The Miro 120 uses microlenses on the CMOS sensor with 10µm pixel pitch to achieve high light sensitivity. With 12-bit pixel depth, it also provides high dynamic range for excellent image quality.

Cameras are available in colour and monochrome.
