Vision Research Phantom v711 Digital Hight-speed video camera

CMOS-based, ultra-fast, megapixel camera capable of taking 1,400,000 pictures-per-second.
Comes standard with CineMag interface and Internal Mechanical Shutter

1280 x 800 at 7,530 fps
1 µs minimum exposure. 300 ns with the FAST option
Continuous recording feature
Dual 4:4:4 HD-SDI ports or
two single 4:2:2 HD-SDI port
Extreme Dynamic Range (EDR)

Smaller and lighter than its predecessor and including additonal on-camera and connectivity controls requested by users, the Phantom v711 is housed in a white body keeping it cooler when shooting in direct sunlight.

The sensor and its capability
The Phantom v711 includes wide screen 1280 x 800 CMOS sensor, which allows moving targetsto be kept in the frame longer and so to see more of the event being recorded. The wide sensor also enables true 1280 x 720 HD images from a 1Mpx camera. With the v711, a maximum speed of 7530 frames-per-second can achieve at full resolution. At reduced resolutions, the camera can deliver up to 680,000 frames-per-second or up to 1,400,000 fps with the FAST option.

Output
The camera offers Versatile Dual HD-SDI that can provide 4:4:4 video (except at 60 fps), or two single 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports – one for playback and one always live. It is also capable of recording direct to CineMag at up to 800 megapixels/second saving time with this direct recording opportunity.

Image acquisition
Additional features that set the Phantom v711 apart from competitors include the Extreme Dynamic Range feature, which gives the ability to acquire two different exposures within a single frame so areas that would otherwise be over-exposed now contain image detail. Additionally, the Auto Exposure function lets the camera automatically adjust to changing lighting conditions. The ability to trigger from motion in an image with the unique Image-Based Auto-Trigger feature is now standard as is an Internal Mechanical Shutter which eliminates the need to cap the lens manually during a black balance.

The Phantom v711 is available in monochrome and colour
