LOADED WITH KEY FEATURES,
THE PHANTOM V310 SETS THE STANDARD FOR AFFORDABLE,
HIGH-PERFORMANCE CAMERAS
Used in conjunction with the optional, but recommended, Phantom
CineMag, for time-saving, secure storage of your
shoot
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
The Phantom v310 showcases
a large array of labour-saving, image-capture and storage
features:
Helps capture better shots more easily
Wideview capture: The rectangular
shape of the 1280 x 800 CMOS sensor allows the user to keep moving
targets in-frame for a longer time and also to see more
of the event that if being captured. This wide-aspect ratio also
provides the ability to shoot 1280 720 HD with a one-megapixel
camera.
Sensitivity:
Pixel size has an effect on both
sensor resolution and light sensitivity. Helping the user deal with challenging
lighting conditions is the v310's active pixel size of 20 microns
and its improved quantum efficiency.
Eliminate blur:
Setting a short exposure time on the v310 to as little as 1 microsecond,
helps eliminate blur and well as bring out the most
minute details.
Set two different exposures in the same frame:
The Extreme Dynamic Range feature is the tool that allows two
different exposures within a single frame ie when the subject
contains very bright areas as well as darker areas and both must be exposed
properly. Changing lighting conditions are managed by the v310's auto
exposure.
Obtain immediate feedback:
View your recording immediately in a variety of formats
through the camera ports or through the component video viewfinder port.
Allows more choices
Vary the bit depth:
The v310 supports 8- and 12-bit pixel depth: the small
bit-depth giving more recording time and smaller files, while the greater
provides more gray levels and finer detail. The high bit-depth provides
more detail in the image.
Vary the resolution:
At full resolution, the camera produces 3 250
frames-per-second. Up to 500 000 frames-per-second are possible
at the lowest resolution.
Provides more storage options:
Internal Memory:
The v 310 is available with 8 (standard), 16 or 32 GB (optional) high-speed
(DRAM) memory. The camera's segmented memory function
allows the operator to divide memory into up to 64 segments enabling
back-to-back shots to be taken without needing to download data
from the camera.
Optional external memory and storage: Direct
recording to storage is also possible via the optional
and highly-recommended Phantom CineMag - a non-volatile, hot-swappable,
compact, memory magazine that fits snugly to the camera and adds veru
little bulk and weight. Equipping the camera with a CineMag
means that recorded images stored in DRAM can be transferred
to this memory - an effective way to guard against power failures.
The CineMag can also be used as a way of saving multiple short
recordings without the need to download DRAM to a connected PC
after every recorded sequence. Using the CineMag provides maximum
protection as well as being an ideal and secure storage
medium, saving time and effort.
More key features:
*** High-resolution timing
system: better than 40 ns resolution ***
Optional internal shutter: hands-free remote current session reference
(CSR) *** Gb ethernet
