FAST, AND WITH A HIGH-RESOLUTION TIMING SYSTEM: THE PHANTOM v210 IS LOADED WITH ESSENTIAL, USER-CONVENIENT FEATURES

Why should you consider the Phantom v210?
Take advantage of the wide screen view
The CMOS custom-designed 1280 x 800 sensor allows a 25% wider view than conventional, square cameras. The special design allows the operator to keep the moving target in-frame longer and to see more of the event that is being recorded. Not only does the wide-aspect ratio extend viewing capacity, but it also provides the unique ability to shoot 1280 x 800 HD with a one-megapixel camera.

Solve difficult lighting conditions
The active pixel size of 20 microns and improved quantum efficiency, means that the Phantom v210 camera has all the sensitivity needed to meet the most challenging lighting conditions

Phantom's unique Extreme Dynamic Range (EDR) feature enables two different exposures within a single frame. When the subject contains very bright areas as well as darker areas and both must be exposed correctly throughout the recording, the EDR function permits the user to expose for darker areas and then set a separate and independent pixel level EDR exposure for all the portions of the image that might become over-exposed. Teamed up with auto exposure, the camera automatically adjusts to changing light conditions.

Produce sharper images
Setting short exposure times eliminates blur and allows the most minute details to be seen. The Phantom v210's exposure setting can be reduced to as little as 2 microseconds.

Adjust recording time and file size
Supporting an 8- and 12-bit pixel depth, the camera provides flexibility for the user: the smaller bit-depth allows more recording time and smaller files while the greater bit-depth gives more gray levels and finer details. The benefit of having a 12-bit depth means that more detail can be pulled out of the image.

Save manual labour
An optional internal shutter can cut off all light to the sensor when doing a session-specific black reference (CSR). Rather than manually cover the lens, the user can apply CSR remotely through software control.

View your recording immediately
Your recording can be viewed immediately in a variety of formats either through the HD-SDI ports on the camera or through the component video viewfinder port.
