With an enviable track record and combination of recording speed and image resolution, the Phantom v10's capture of image detail provides an unparalleled sense of realism making the capturing of events such as action sports in slow-motion for example, easily achievable and particularly successful.

Image quality
Boosting image quality in low light is made possible using the camera's Extended Dynamic Range (EDR) exposure control as well as the ability to operate in the v10's unique enhanced mode and reducing the maximum frame rate: the user being offered a range of choices in this area.

Triggering
Also under user-control, is the Phantom v10's flexible triggering capabilities and, in combination with extended internal memory options, camera operators have the recording time needed for any application.

Recording speeds
The Phantom v10 offers a recording speed of 480 full-frame pictures per second using the full 2400 x 1800 pixel CMOS imaging sensor array. The user may also specify other aspect ratios to increase speeds or extend recording times. 1920x1080 for example is recorded at 978 fps. Shuttering is continuously variable down to a rapid 2 µsecs (1/500.000 second).
