The Uniblitz NS series is a bi-stable optical shutter utilizing our patented Uniblitz technology. The device consists of two moving parts to increase reliabilit: the blades and the associated drive ring.

The shutters' simple design provides maximum clearance around the aperture and a machined flat surface makes integration easy, particluarly for integration in into telescopes, and video cameras for the NS45B and NS65B . Electronic synchronization is available on all models, however, for the NS65B, electronic synchronization is available by special order.

Bi-stable shutter devices require no power to hold the blades in either the open or closed state.

Applications:
Slow motion control, global mapping and also used within video cameras.
