The #29 mount set adapts specific #2 housing types (excluding the VS45 & CS45) to the transmitted light output of the TE-300 type Nikon microscopes. The user can either attach the mount using the optical thread provided at the output of the TE-300 illuminator lens tube, or the mount can be secured directly to the TE-300 illuminator lens tube. No modification to the microscope should be necessary. A clearance cutoff (1.38in./35.1mm from the aperture center) is provided with the VS series only.
